With its beautiful setting, proud history, summer fishing contest and more, Fond du Lac County in Wisconsin is well-known for many great reasons. The next one may be its wellness program — and the lengths to which leaders there will go to support it.
Having once again been named one of the Healthiest Companies in America by Interactive Health, the county sees its “wellness program as a driving force in the containment of costs related to unhealthy behaviors,” said County Executive Allen Buechel in the Fall Reporter.

The report further states: “Through activities and incentive programs, Fond du Lac County employees learn about physical activity, weight management, stress management, medical self-care and tobacco cessation.”
