Yahoo Finance reports on the Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends 2016, and writes: “A focus on ‘human performance' and well-being will become a critical part of HR, talent and leadership. Despite all of the new tools and technologies available at work, U.S. productivity has slowed in recent years, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. One of HR's emerging roles in 2017 will be to focus on how to help individuals and teams perform through initiatives including employee wellness, employee engagement, culture and work-life balance.”

CIO writes: “It's not too early to start thinking about your workforce management strategy for 2017. In 2016, organizations realized the importance of organizational efficiency, employee well-being and workplace wellness as well as engagement, flexibility, career growth and planning. You can expect those trends to only accelerate in 2017.”

Benefits Pro: “Wellness programs are reducing costs and becoming more inventive.”

Phoenix Business Journal: “More creative benefits packages: To counteract the uncertainty of the Affordable Care Act, many employers are searching for ways to lower health insurance premiums. This includes more time off, wellness programs, discounted gym memberships, etc.”

The Economic Times: “Workplace wellness and employee benefits: If you are looking to hire top talent and best of people at your workplace, be ready to give them healthcare benefits, and ensure they are leading a healthy lifestyle. Office wellness is going to be a big thing in 2017.”
