The University of Michigan Health Management Research Center has compiled some important ideas around “Why a Culture of Health Matters.”

As the group writes: “Having a workplace culture that supports people’s health is really having a culture that supports the people that work in the organization every day. For any organization, the product or service going out the door is intrinsically linked to the health and well-being of those that work in the organization every day. For a hospital, the health of patients going out the door depends on the people in the organization being healthy. For a car manufacturer, the quality of cars and production depends on an engaged healthy workforce that is invested in the welfare of the company.”

Dr. Mary Marzec produced a webinar to “share some of our recent findings and ideas on what it means to create a Culture of Health and its potential impact on an organization.”
